Who we are

Basisa makes an app and website for running lodges, resorts, estates and farms. This policy covers the personal information you share with us through basisa.co.za. You can reach us about anything in it at admin@basisa.co.za.

What we collect

When you request a demo we collect what you type into the form:

• your name and email address
• the name of your property, farm or estate, and what kind it is
• anything you add in the message box

The live demo on this site runs entirely in your browser with sample data. Nothing you do in it is sent to us or stored.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your request, arrange a demo and talk to you about Basisa. We don’t sell or rent your details, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

• Web3Forms delivers the form to our inbox.
• GoDaddy hosts our email.
• Cloudflare hosts this website.

These services may process your details outside South Africa, under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we are talking to you about Basisa, and delete it on request or once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email admin@basisa.co.za and we will respond. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

The Basisa app

Information that lodges and their teams put into the Basisa app is covered by the agreement with each customer, not by this website policy.
